What is a custom domain

A domain or URL, is the website address you type into a browser to visit the site. For example, ‘Google.com’ is a domain.

So a custom domain means the site is at your domain (i.e., YourBusines.com) as opposed to under a subdomain (i.e., YourBusiness.website25.com).

Who Purchases the Domain

If you purchase one of our base packages, you will need to purchase the domain to go along with it. The cost to purchase a .com domain is about $20 per year.

We will purchaes this for you as a value-add for the higher level packages.

What are Support Tasks

Our Support tasks can be applied to making changes or troubleshooting any aspect of your website. So whether you want to build a new page, redo the look / feel of an existing page, or debug an issue – our support has you covered.

Plans include task per month or quarter. A task is considered any development request that takes about an hour or less for a developer to complete.

All support tasks are use-it-or-lose it in that month and do NOT roll-over or accrue.

What is covered in 'Speed Optimization'?

Speed optimization is where we make changes and improvements to your site in order to make it load faster and get a better Google Page Speed score. Typically this is 2 – 3 hours of work on our part.

What is considered a website page?

All pages on your site will count towards your page-count. The 5 page site will contain the following pages:
-Home
-Services
-About
-Blog
-Contact

The 7 and 10 page site will contain additional pages that we will build under your direction. Most businesses choose to build out a unique services page for each of the service lines that they offer. More unique service-specific pages will increase your incoming leads from Google around that service.

Development of additional pages can also be purchased a-la-carte at the cost of $150 p/pg.

What is an Email Account?

For each ‘Email Account’ we set up an email account at your domain, such as name@yourbusinesss.com. This is more professional than using an @gmail or @yahoo email account for your business.

On the backend, we will use either Gmail or TitanMail as your email client. 

What is 'hacking insurance'?

Hacking Insurance means that if your site is hacked we will fix the hacking issues for free of charge as part of your support plan.
